During his journey, he got to meet Edge Master, a mysterious old man who is said to know about Nightmare and the Soul Edge sword. In the hands of a new owner, Mitsurugi retained hope that he could get his hands on the weapons and set off to get the sword. It was at this time that he heard of the legendary ‘Soul Edge’ sword, which was said to be the most powerful weapon.
